STR Recruitment are looking for an Account Manager to join our expanding Major Accounts team, within the engineering and manufacturing division. This position has become available due to increased workload and organic growth within the business.
The Account Manager will be supporting the Business Delivery Managers in providing first class service delivery to a portfolio of existing clients – primarily focused within the engineering, manufacturing and technology sectors.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing and contacting high calibre candidates for active vacancies
- Conducting initial telephone interviews
- Designing and posting advertisements across all available job boards
- Client engagement, and regular on-site client interaction / visits
- Arranging and confirming interviews and managing candidate engagement throughout the interview process
- Offer management and negotiation
- Contractor / Temporary Staff administration
- Other administration duties as and when required

Candidates must have previous experience within the recruitment industry. This role could either suit an existing Account Manager looking for a better working environment and increased prospects, an experienced Resourcer looking for a step up, or a Recruitment Consultant looking to move away from sales and business development. We are flexible on sector experience, but previous experience within either white collar engineering, technology or manufacturing industries would be preferred.
